Question

WooCommerce → Zapier trigger stopped firing after working for months (On-Hold orders)

I have two Zaps connecting WooCommerce and Shopify. The first Zap triggers on WooCommerce On-Hold orders to create a draft order in Shopify and send an invoice. The second Zap updates WooCommerce when the Shopify invoice is paid.

This setup worked for 2–3 months, then suddenly stopped. New WooCommerce orders are still created as On-Hold, the app connection looks fine, but the Zap no longer triggers at all (no runs, no errors).

Looking to see if others have experienced WooCommerce triggers silently stopping and whether this is related to webhooks, updates, or order status behavior.

Hello @Charahiil This usually comes down to WooCommerce webhooks rather than the Zap itself. When webhooks break the Zap can look connected but never trigger.

Quick checks
Go to WooCommerce Settings Advanced Webhooks and confirm the Zapier webhook still exists and is active
Turn the Zap off and back on to force a webhook refresh
Check for recent WooCommerce or payment plugin updates that may have changed On Hold behavior
Create a test order and see if WooCommerce logs a webhook event

Hi @Charahiil

Check to make sure you are using the current version of the WooCommerce Zap app.

Hey @Charahiil,

For live Zap, I would recommend checking the Zap history(https://zapier.com/app/history) to spot any issues there.

Also please delete the WooCommerce app connection and connect it again to see if it fixes your issue. You can do that from here- https://zapier.com/app/assets/connections. Hope it helps!

I tried that, but it doesn’t work. There’s no trigger detected. It seems like there’s something wrong with WooCommerce. I’m trying to contact the WooCommerce Plugin.

I’ve tried everything you suggested here, but the issue persists.
