Hi, I’m currently using Zapier to connect Wix and Mailchimp. I have a Zap set up where a specific form submission on Wix triggers an update to our Mailchimp subscriber list. Previously, before setting up the Zap, we would receive email notifications whenever a user submitted this form. However, after creating the automation, the form submission notifications have stopped. I’m trying to determine whether this issue is related to the Zapier automation setup or something that changed within the Wix form settings. Could you please help clarify what might be causing this and how we can restore the submission notifications while keeping the Zap active?

Hi @yi61

Check your Wix Automations: https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-automations-about-the-new-automations-builder

I have wix automation set up and submission notification set up as well, but it seems that zap overwrite the wix automation after setting up?

Hi @yi61,

Welcome to the Community.

Suppose your Wix form submission notifications are not working. In that case, it's important to note that using a Zap to trigger actions, like updating a Mailchimp subscriber list, does not interfere with the form's existing notification settings. To troubleshoot, check the Wix form settings to ensure email notifications are enabled, and the correct email address is entered. Examine the email account's spam folder, as notifications might be flagged as spam. Confirm that the form is still receiving submissions, as a lack of new submissions since the Zap setup could explain the issue. If these checks don't resolve the problem, contacting Wix support is recommended. As a temporary solution, you can set up an Email by Zapier action to send yourself notifications whenever the form is submitted. This helps maintain functionality while resolving the root issue with Wix.

I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns.
