Wix Form is sending information to Zapier multiple times

I have a wix form that is sending registrant information to Zoom Events via Zapier. It appear that the form sends it successfully the first time but then two more errors appear right after the first with the message “email is missing. ” The submission times are almost exactly the same time as the first zap and when I check the error records they match the first successful zap.

It appears that I only have one zap in place and the registrants are making it into Zoom events. The issue is also happening intermittently. It works perfectly for awhile and then suddenly a few emails kick up these errors.

Hi @HouzMuzk

You can add a Filter step with a condition that email exists to prevent these Zap Run errors.

@Troy Tessalone Thanks. Could you give me a little more detail? I did try that. Is the filter set to “continue if...{email does not exist}?

@HouzMuzk

If you only want to process Zap Runs where the email EXISTS, then this would be the filter condition:

  • Email exists

Agree with @Troy Tessalone here.

Just add the filter and yo should be good to go, don’t see a screenshot so maybe there’s something that we’re missing that could also be throwing the error.

I’m happy to hop on a short 15min call with you and fix the problem, and no you don’t have to pay anything.

Reply here with a thump-up and I’ll send a link to schedule that call

Hi @HouzMuzk! 👋

Were you able to get it sorted by setting the filter to use the Exists rule condition that Troy and AutomateMyBiz suggested?

Happy to lend a hand if you’re still stuck at all 🙂
