Hi everyone,
I’m trying to set up a Zap where form submissions from my roadside assistance Atlanta website are automatically sent to a Google Sheet using Zapier. I'm using WPForms on WordPress, and the goal is to collect leads (customer requests for roadside help) in real time.
Here’s the issue:
Everything works fine when I test the form manually through Zapier. The test data appears in Google Sheets as expected. But when actual users submit the form on the live site, the zap sometimes doesn't trigger. It feels inconsistent — some entries go through, and others don’t show up at all.
What I’ve Tried:
-
Reconnecting both WPForms and Google Sheets in Zapier
-
Checking the zap history (some entries don’t even show as triggered)
-
Ensured there are no filters or conditions that would stop it
-
Turned the zap off and back on
-
Adjusted the form fields to match exactly with Zapier’s setup
My Zap Setup:
-
Trigger: Webhooks by Zapier (Catch Hook) from WPForms
-
Action: Google Sheets (Create Spreadsheet Row)
-
Running on WordPress, hosted on Namecheap
What I’m Wondering:
-
Could it be a timing or polling delay with free Zapier accounts?
-
Is there a limit to how often Zapier pulls data from the webhook?
-
Or could it be a webhook misfire issue on WPForms’ side?
I’m trying to avoid missing customer leads, especially for emergency services like roadside assistance in Atlanta, where timing matters a lot.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
