Question

Why is all mail being added to the database. I only want it to work when a new thread is created. (Gmail to Notion)

When a new thread is created in a Google Groups email, I want to add the post to the Notion database.
I can't connect Google Groups directly to Zapier, so I created a new Gmail account and invited people to join the group.

I am receiving two Google Groups emails in one Gmail account.
I set up automatic labeling of these two Google Groups emails.

In Zapier, I made sure that when a new thread is created in Gmail, a document is added to the database in the notion, and the mailboxes are labeled. The reason for this is that we want to put emails with different labels in different databases.

You may ask if you can create two Google accounts, but I have a corporate account, so each time I create one, it adds money.

However, whenever a new email is created, rather than a new thread, it is added to the notion database.
For example, when someone in a group replies, it is also added to the database.
It shouldn't be added to the database because it's not a new thread.

How can I solve this, please help.

Hi @hyun

Good question.

Please post detailed screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured in order to give us more context.
