I never got “data out” area like tutorial video. see 3:25 mark compared to my zap screenshot.
you can see my whole setup until step 5 which I cannot get the same result because on the tutorial it should be “Your zap would not have continued for this test data”. What did I do wrong?

Hey Chris,
The data out is there, the issue is that you have zoomed in too much that why it is not visible to you, tyr zooming out a little bit by pressing ctrl + (scrolling out). Or you can press this button on the top to get the better view.

Did Zooming out as Mohammad_Shahzaib_Nawaz suggested then allow the values in the Data out section to appear?
