Why am I receiving empty email notifications from my Zap?

Hello,

 

I set up a form on my website and embedded zapier to bounce that form submission to me and my teams emails. I randomly get empty email zaps so the form just has all the forms questions but no answers so I think its broken every time so then I go to my website and fill the form out and hit submit then when it do that i get the full form filled out so I do not understand where the empty ones are coming from or why.

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

Please post screenshots of Data In, Data Out as well how each Zap step is configured for us to have more context.

This usually happens when the Zap is triggered by a partial submit, a test event, or a bot rather than a real form submission.

Check the Zap run history to see if the trigger data is already empty, and add a Filter step so the email only sends when a required field has a value. If the form is public, enabling CAPTCHA can also help.
