I have 3 Instagram accounts (3 different clients with 3 different accounts), and only 2 of them embed correctly in their respective channels on Discord. I have followed the correct steps, duplicated them on each zap and even posted on 1 channel all together, yet the same account with the issues remains unresolved. I would like to know why that particular IG won't embed on Discord while the other 2 do. I'm on a free plan and will remain on it, so the premium webhook GET POST is no use for me at the moment.

Ah yes, I’ve seen other cases in Community where the unfurling of URLs to display preview images isn’t consistent in Discord. There is an existing feature request for the ability to attach images to a message so that you don’t have to include the URL in the message. That would get around this issue where only some of the Instagram accounts appear to be displaying the images correctly so I’ve added your vote to that. I can’t make any promises as to when that feature might be added but we’ll email you to let you know as soon as it is.

The workaround of using a webhook action to post the message with the image attached would be the only other way around this that I’m aware of. But since that’s not possible here I wonder if we might be able to identify any differences between to two accounts that are having images displayed correctly and the one that isn’t, then remedy that to get the images displaying?

For example, is there any difference in privacy settings between the Instagram accounts? The type of images shared? Or any difference in how much time has passed before the image is posted in Discord - just wondering if it might take a bit of time for an image preview to be cached on Instagram’s servers before it’s available for Discord to then use, in which case adding a delay to the Zap might help get the image previews showing. 

Can you think of any other differences between them that might account for why it’s not working on that specific account?
