Hi everyone,

all of a sudden my WhatsApp Notifications in Zapier stopped working. I haven’t changed anything in the setup — everything looks fine to me. But whenever I test or try to send a message, I keep getting this error:

Failed to create a message in WhatsApp Notifications The app returned: (#132000) Number of parameters does not match the expected number of params"

I already checked everything: template name, language code, placeholders, and the Zapier fields. It all seems correct, but the messages just won’t go through.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows what could be causing it?
Thanks a lot for your help!

I’ve got the exact same error. Just happened a few hours ago.

Same here!

The Problem Started a few weeks ago with this error:
“The app returned "(#100) Invalid parameter”

And after a few days working, again it continues with this error:
“The app returned "(#132000) Number of parameters does not match the expected number of params"

Hi there @Manuelt1 and everyone on this thread,

Thanks for bringing this to the community’s attention. Scott S. here from Zapier Support.

Looking at the Whats App notifications app, it does look like others had seen the same issue as well as of late.  The app developer has let us know this should be addressed in the most recent version of the app.

Can you check and see if your Whats App Notifications steps in your Zaps, have any numbers in parentheses next to the name as this article explains: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/18755649454989-App-versions-in-Zapier#h_01JZQ3TX0GPA2FWB1E115ZEB65

If so, can you update the app to the latest version as mentioned here ( Link ), to the non numbered version, and see if this same issue occurs with new runs moving forward?

Let us know if this continues after, and if needed, we can pass this on to the app developer for further investigation.

The latest version sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work and encounters errors.

Hi again @Yasser Soltanieh,

Thank you for that follow up, and im sorry to hear this has continued even after the update.

As this does look to be more intricate, I would recommend reaching out to our support team at https://zapier.com/app/get-help

From there, we can add you to the internal report on this issue to get this further investigated, and also help give more 1 to 1 troubleshooting.
