How to send a message with youtube video url on WhatsaApp automatically?

I tried but I am getting the following error:

The Template field is a dropdown field with a list of options.

Each option has 2 values. (top/bottom)

The field expects the bottom value for each option.

It works if I choose the ready-made templates. How can I make it work with custom message?

You can use WhatsApp Notifications in your Zaps to send yourself WhatsApp messages to your WhatsApp account. 

Messages are limited to prefilled templates for:

  • New Lead
  • New Message 
  • Payment Confirmation
  • New Order
  • Shipping Confirmation
  • Calendar Reminder

To send yourself a text message:

I’m jumping in to see if I can help!

I did some digging into this, and it seems like using custom templates on the WhatApp Notifications integration is not supported at the moment.

I’d recommend reaching out to our Support Team so that they can create a feature request on your behalf. You can reach our Support Team here and tag your query as “Report a bug or request a feature”.

You can choose the “Something else” option instead. Then you can type your specific request. Like so:

It also lets you send attachments such as pdf, images and videos in the message.

Actually I do not want to send message from whatsapp. I want to receive a custom message from zapier.

No, I am using ready made templates and couldn’t found the solution for a custom message.

Ah yes, I took a closer look at the WhatsAble app just now and I couldn’t see any option to select a custom message template either. 

It seems like your best bet will be to reach out to out Support team as Ken mentioned previously. They’ll be able to open up a feature request to have custom templates supported in the WhatsApp Notifications app. Sorry to not have a more immediate solution to suggest here.
