I'm receiving almost 100 "Alert" emails bc Zap failed to connect to HubSpot. This is triggered because HubSpot made an update or just temporarily disconnected from Zapier. Regardless, I’m receiving an incredibly high number of emails which is driving me nuts.

I obviously still need to know when a Zap actually failed because of something in the workflow, but don’t want to know about “possible” errors due to a connection failure.

Since I don’t see this mentioned in the community, how are others getting around this without straight up turning off the notifications? I feel like I’m missing something here since I don’t see any discussion on this topic.

Where is the Alerts & Notifications tab? I only see “Error Notification Settings” as a general option for all Zaps

1. Open the Zap in question and click on the "Alerts & Notifications" tab.
2. Under "Workflow Alerts", uncheck the box next to "Notify me when this Zap fails due to a connection issue".
3. Leave the box next to "Notify me when this Zap fails due to a workflow issue" checked, so that you will still receive notifications for actual workflow failures.
4. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

Hi there @cjpando,

I did some digging into this, and it seems like we have a help article talking about managing notifications when errors occur in Zaps. Here’s the link:

https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496289225229

Please give it a read and let me know if it helps!

Thanks! 😊

Thanks, Ken! This is 50% of the solution.

I need to only be alerted of actual errors that occur, not when a service is temporarily down.

Ideally, I can select the “Repeated” option so that when a service disconnects and the error repeats, then I would get an alert.

The “Repeated” option is not ideal for actual errors in my Zaps because I need to know as soon as the error occurs to fix it.

Hi @cjpando,

I'm happy to hear that the information I provided was helpful to you! Have you had a chance to check out Zapier Manager yet? It could be a great resource for you to explore. We actually have a Community post dedicated to Zapier Manager that you might find useful. You can find it here:

Hopefully, this helps! 😊

Hi Ken - as I mentioned in my response to you, Zapier Manager falls short of what is needed, and does not solve my issue.

Thanks,
CJ
