Unable to pull text from a file in Google Drive, and then share into Roam Research

Thanks for the response ​@robintrainward — I’d gotten as far as you’ve put here, but I’m not quite sure how I need to configure this:

What do I need to set in the Configure section?
 

And then what do I put in the Roam Research section to use the input from step 2 as the input for my daily notes page?

Help link for getting different GDrive File link formats: 

You likely need to add a Filter as Zap step 2 to make sure you are processing only the GDrive file types you want.

From you screenshot:

• you need to remove the tailing: /
• the mapped variable has “No data”, so you need to make sure to select a representative trigger step example that has a value for the mapped variable
  • that means you may need to chose a different record to test with

Thank you for following up ​@SamB — I managed to get it working, but the results didn’t really hit the mark. That’s less of an issue on the Zapier side of things, and more with the technology I was trying to integrate on the input and output sides (In: Supernote, Out: Roam Research).
