Most Zap app integrations are created and managed by the app developer using the Zapier Developer Platform.
I recommend reaching out to ManageEngine Support for help with their Zap app integration.
As a possible workaround, try adding this Zap action: ManageEngine - Invoke API Call
Hey there, @bakerm00
This sounds like it might be a bug with the ManageEngine app on Zapier. I did some checking and couldn’t see any existing bug reports that match that behaviour so I’d recommend flagging this with our Support team. They’ll be able to dive into the logs to confirm whether it’s definitely bug and can open up a bug report to get it fixed. You can reach them via the form here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help.
In the meantime, did using a Invoke API Call action as Troy suggested get the description field?
If not, can you turn the Zap on and make a test request in ManageEngine to check whether you’re able to see the Description field come through in the Zap history? Asking as sometimes we can see different fields in test records compared to the ones available when a Zap runs live. In which case, you could use custom pill mapping to manually select the missing Description field.
You can learn more about how to do that here:
Hope that helps. Please keep us updated on how you get on with this!
