Hi there, 

I am trying to create the following Zap:
 

  1. New opportunity creation in SFDC triggers
  2. A new basecamp project to be created from a template

We have a full list of templates in basecamp but not all of them load in Zapier which is causing me some issues 

Here is the screenshot of what’s available in Zapier (scrolling capture)

 

VS what we actually have in Basecamp:
 


I can notice a couple templates missing from the Zapier update. I’ve tried re-connecting to the account, connecting to my own personal account.

I did notice that we are actually running Baseamp 4 and not Basecamp 3, which is not available to choose from the Zapier integrations. Could that be the issue?

Project is not showing up on the dropdown options

Make sure the account connected to the Zap has been formally added/invited to the project: https://3.basecamp-help.com/article/72-inviting-people-to-a-project

So sorry, @Charie - I realize I don’t have access to our shared account email address as I am working as an individual contributor. That ticket can be closed.

Would someone from Support be able to help me with this on this forum instead?

@Troy Tessalone What I’m trying to do is trigger a zap to create a project from a template, so there isn’t anyone added to that project just yet.

Can you confirm the Basecamp 3 account connected to Zapier has been added/invited to the project you are trying to select?

Thanks for the screenshot!

As you can see on the URL of the template, there’s an ID. You may go ahead and use the “Custom” tab on the dropdown, then manually type the ID of the template.

I think that worked, but now I need to track down the project since I’m not technically a member while using an automation to create this. I’ll follow up again! Thanks @Charie !
