Question

Unable to find the values that have been submitted through Interface

Maybe I did something wrong. I had already set up the form but it didn’t seem to connect to any table. (At this point I assumed the table would have been created). Also, when I tried to create a Zap, it seemed to be able to fetch previous data submitted through the form (so it must be storing the data somewhere right?).

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hi @KhairyARH,

Welcome to the Community.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. You're on the right track. When using forms like Google Forms or Typeform, the data is stored in the form app, but to view it in a table format, you'll need to connect it to a spreadsheet or database. Zapier should be able to fetch previous form submissions to test the connection. To troubleshoot, check that your form stores responses, connect it to a spreadsheet if needed, and test each step of your Zap to pinpoint where things might go wrong.

If you're still having trouble, please provide more details about the specific applications you're using (for example, Google Forms, etc.) and the steps you've taken so far. This will help me provide more specific guidance.

Hey @KhairyARH 👋

Just came across this and wanted to check in—were you able to get this sorted?

If not, you’d need to Edit the Interfaces form, click the Data tab from the edit sidebar (to the right of the form) and click on the Create Table button to generate a new Zapier table which would then be connected to the form:

If no table is selected then the form can still be submitted but no data will be stored:

Hope that helps. Want to make sure you’re all set, so keep us posted on how it goes! 🙂
