I am unable to use my Instagram and Facebook page in Zapier.
I can successfully connect my Facebook account, and the associated Instagram account is found. 


However, when I try to select the account in Zapier, nothing appears. Adding the account via ID does not work either. And in Facebook I gave Zapier all permissions.

In the Meta Business Suite, it looks like this:

Could the issue be that the pages are only added as part of the Business Portfolio (even though I have full rights)?

For another Facebook account, where the Facebook page was created using the same account (maybe that’s why there is the "Your Account" section shown in the Business Manager?).
Here I am able to connect Instagram and Facebook in Zapier.

The question is: How can I, and is it possible to, connect Zapier to a page under the Business Portfolio if there is no "Your Account" section?

And what does it actually mean if the "Your Account" section is missing?

Does this mean that the section is always missing when the page has been "assigned" to you, rather than when you created the page yourself on Facebook?


Can anyone help me with this?

Additional Information:

Until recently, I had another page connected to the account where the issues are occurring. This page appeared both in the Business Portfolio and under "Your Account." I was able to successfully link this page to Zapier. However, at that time, the other page (the one currently causing issues) was already not showing up in the second step after connecting the account.

The two main authentication issues we see with Instagram for Business can be remedied by trying these two troubleshooting steps.

  • First, go to your Apps page to disconnect the Instagram for Business connection: https://zapier.com/app/connections
    Once disconnected, you can go ahead and reconnect that integration. Check the Zap editor to see if the Instagram account to use option works now.
  • The second thing to try is to confirm your Instagram for Business account is connected to a Facebook Page. The integration won't function properly if the Instagram professional account isn't linked to a FB Page. Once confirmed, you can try that connection again.

thank you for your response.

Perhaps I didn’t make it clear enough in my original post, but the issue isn’t just with the Instagram account—posting directly to Facebook is also not working. The problems are identical on both platforms.

I have already reconnected the accounts and double-checked that the Instagram account is linked to the Facebook page, which it is. Unfortunately, this hasn’t resolved the issue.

I still suspect that the problem may be related to the fact that the “Dein Konto” (Your Account) entry is missing in Facebook.

Another update: At least posting to Facebook seems to be working now by entering the ID manually. I still need to test Instagram.
