Unable to add an error handler on the trigger step

I am trying to catch an error on the first step of my Zap.

But when I click the three dots on the first step I cannot add an error handler.

When I check the second action I do get the option to add an error handler.

Am I missing something or can we not add the error handler to the fist step?

And how can I catch errors on this step otherwise?

Hi @iStart,

Unfortunately, you can only add a error handler on action steps and not on the trigger step. You can learn more about that here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/22495436062605-Set-up-custom-error-handling#h_01HPPKK18NK2HWNS50QA06BJKS

I've submitted this feedback to our internal database, which our product teams use when looking to make improvements and changes to Zapier.

Hopefully, this helps!
