Hello, it is no longer possible to link zapier to twitter? My zaps no longer work, yet I see among competitors that you can use Twitter with the developer section. thanks for your help

 

Token request failed with code 401, response was '{"errors":[{"code":32,"message":"Could not authenticate you."}]}'.

Hi all, just wanted to post a quick update here for anyone that comes across this: the X (Twitter) integration is available on Zapier again! 🎉

Also wanted to note that, you'll need to create your own X Developer App and use its Client ID and Client Secret when connecting. See our How to get started with X (Twitter) on Zapier guide for details on how to get it set up.

Twitter integration removal notice

On August 31, 2023, Zapier’s current Twitter integration will stop working due to Twitter's decision to change its API policy and pricing. To prepare, here are a few critical dates to note:
  • Beginning today, you won’t be able to create any new Zaps using the Twitter integration.
  • Your Zaps using Twitter will stop working on August 31, 2023.
  • You can access Zaps using Twitter with view-only access until September 30, 2023.
  • When using the Twitter app with Transfer, Zapier currently only supports the source data, Follower, Mention, and Tweet. It will stop working on August 31, 2023.
