Troubleshooting zap activation issues with Zapier and Funnelish

I encountered a confusing problem when using Zapier to connect my Funnelish. First, I created a new application and successfully completed the connection. Then, there are only two steps to create a new zap. The first step is to subscribe to the Funnelish New Order Event. The second node is to run python code to initiate a self-developed request through the order email obtained in the first step. It is just 2 simple steps. After I published the zap, I still couldn't complete the zap turn on. There was no warning or error reminder in the zap step. Finally, I added that I am on the free plan.

Hi @daipeng515 👋

Just came across this and it appears this is being caused by a bug on the Funnelish app. We can’t provide a timeline for when a fix will be implemented by their developers but, I’ve added you to the bug report as an affected user. This ensures you’ll be notified via email as soon as it’s sorted.

Thanks for your patience, and I’m sorry for any hassle caused by this. I’ll be sure to follow up here with any workarounds I come across in the meantime.

Thank you for your reply. I have carefully read the integration document you provided, deleted the previous app and zaps, and re-authorized and created new ones, but zaps still cannot be opened normally. I am confused. What is the problem? It is currently in the debugging stage and there is no limit on the request frequency.

@daipeng515

Try process of elimination to determine if the issue one of these:

  • Is the issue with Funnelish?
    • Try configuring and turning ON a different Zap that does not use Funnelish.
    • If this is the issue, then reach out to Funnelish Support for help with their Zap app integration.
  • Is the issue with Code?
    • Try configuring and turning ON a different Zap that does not use a Code step.
  • Is the issue with Code as the last step in the Zap?
    • Try configuring and turning ON a different Zap that does not use Code as the last step in the Zap.

@SamB Thank you for your reply. I have contacted Funnelish and they said that the problem is due to Zapier's annual verification process. I don't know how long it will take to complete this review process.

Thanks for letting us know, @daipeng515. I’m not entirely sure what the “annual verification process” that they mentioned is, but I’ll let you know if I hear anything on that front!
