Troubleshooting Formidable Forms integration with Pipedrive leads

I have been struggling to test and get the last step working in a Zap where I take information from a Formidable Form lead to a Pipedrive entry:
 

I keep getting the same error message: “Organization ID and Person” not specified:
 

As per the flow, I set a Step to CREATE and Organisation and to CREATE a person, the following configuration was set:
FOR ORGANIZATION:

FOR PERSON:


And in the last step I have taken the Create Person and Create Organization fields to populate the last step:

 

And still get the following error:O

 

What am I missing or what is happening that this cannot execute properly. It makes no sense currently. Formidable all seems correct - is there something to done in Pipedrive to make this work?

Can someone please assist with this?

Thanks for writing in, Laura here at Zapier support happy to answer your questions!

You’re on the right track with this, however Pipedrive needs the ID of the person and the company to be able to link them. From the screenshot it looks like you’ve mapped the name fields. Updating those to use the ID’s should do the trick.

Where would I get these ID’s and that Pipedrive (or Zapier) wants? Is it Pipedrive or is it in Formidable? Please advise or at least verify where these ID’s are.

They would be from a Pipedrive action not a Formidable Forms action. Were you able to locate the IDs in the Zap?

If not, usually a search action (like Find Organizations or Find Persons) would be needed to obtain the relevant IDs: Search for existing data in Zaps. However, as you’ve got actions that are creating the organization and person, in the Create Lead action you could select the ID fields directly from those actions instead.
