Hi all - please can I have some help on why my report is not showing figures when it runs, but when I test the data it shows figures.

I have set up the Zap Inventory report as per the attached sheet (Zap Inventory Report),

I have set up the Utilities and when I test this, this pulls through the figures for me. (Zap Utilities)I have changed this on several occasions to try to get this to work when it runs automatically.

When the report runs automatically, it does not pull through the figures on the Google Sheets (Zap Sheet)

If someone can help me work out what I need to do to get the figures to come through automatically, that would be a great help.

Thank you

Alison

Hello @Alison Wheeler ,

Can you provide screenshots of the Configure and Test panel for the “Utilities” and both the “Google Sheets” nodes?

Hi - Here is the screenshots for the Configure and Test Panel.  I have attached Test 1 and 2 , so you can see the products and the quantities it is has on there.

Hi there, @Alison Wheeler! 👋

Sorry to hear of the troubles with your Zap. This is most odd—if you’ve mapped the figures from the Formatter (Utilities > Import CSV File) action to the Create Multiple Spreadsheet Rows action then those figures should definitely be added to Google Sheets.

Can you send a further screenshot showing all the fields and settings that have been selected/mapped in the Create Multiple Spreadsheet Rows (Google Sheets) action? Sorry about asking for another screenshot here, but it should help to give us a better idea of why the figures aren’t being transferred as expected. Remember to blur or remove all personal information (names, emails, addresses etc.) from screenshots before sharing—you can use a tool like Zappy for that.

Thanks, looking forward to your reply! 🙂

Hi Sam

Thank you for your response.  Here are the screenshots as requested.  I have had this Zap turned off for a while and have turned it back on today.  So when this runs tomorrow, I will double check to see if it has worked

Thanks

Hello @Alison Wheeler ,

I tried creating a similar task and only used three nodes. I believe you can also omit the "Formatter by Zapier" and use "File by Zapier" directly instead. From there, you can map the data into your Google Sheet. I'll provide the screenshots below.

I hope this helps!

Thank you, will give that a go.

Thanks so much for sharing those screenshots, @Alison Wheeler! 🤗 It looks like the line items are definitely mapped correctly but a lot of the values are just 0 so perhaps that could be why they don’t appear to have transferred anything to the Google Sheets spreadsheet. 🤔

The setup @Sync9-Solutions shared is a great way to approach too! Keep us posted on how you get on with that, keen to make sure you’re all set. 🙂
