Troubleshooting email mapping issues between LeadConnector and Zapier

"In my Zap, the email field from LeadConnector is not populating during tests. Zapier only shows 'email' as a placeholder, not the real value. I confirmed the LeadConnector contact has a valid email, but it doesn’t map. How can I ensure the test pulls actual contact data and not just placeholders?"

Hello @blueshirtmedia

I’ve seen this happen when Zapier is only pulling in a test sample rather than a real contact record.

You could try re-testing the trigger right after creating or updating a LeadConnector contact that has an email, and use Refresh fields to reload the data. If it still shows placeholders, reconnecting the LeadConnector account can help clear cached fields.

Hi @blueshirtmedia

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.
