I’ve been trying to create an automated Instagram story for a few days now with no luck.

I have a zap that’s triggered by a calendar event being entered - it runs through a few things (including creating an image through DynaPictures and posting to instagram as a normal post - this does use the older Buffer connection though). However, I wanted to create a story from this too, that would share automatically. DynaPictures has the ability to create an animated gif, however, for some reason this part of the zap errors “This app did not respond in time. It may or may not have completed successfully.”

I check in the generated images section of DynaPictures and the images are there so I know some of the zap is working. For some reason though - it won’t carry on through and post to our Buffer part of the zap.

Hi @AutomationMonkey,

Welcome to the Community.

If you're encountering Zap issues, it might be due to a timeout error from the app taking too long to respond. To troubleshoot, check your Zap history for error details, try toggling the Zap off and on, review DynaPictures settings to ensure proper image formatting, test the Buffer step in isolation, and contact support for DynaPictures or Buffer if needed.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else I can do to assist you.
