I am in a 48 hr Build Weekend and trying to get Agents to pull events from my Google Calendar and the connection is live via Zapier App Connections but Agents keeps failing at events retrieval.  

The response I keep getting is:

“Here are the steps to resolve this:

  1. Verify Connection: Ensure that the Google Calendar connection is properly set up in Zapier. You can do this by going to the "My Apps" section in Zapier and checking the status of the Google Calendar connection.
  2. Re-authenticate: If the connection appears to be correct, try re-authenticating the Google Calendar app in Zapier. This can be done by disconnecting and then reconnecting the app
  3. Permissions: Make sure that the necessary permissions are granted to Zapier to access your Google Calendar.”


All of which I have done.

Suppose the issue is that your Zap isn't retrieving events from Google Calendar, despite a live connection. To troubleshoot, ensure the correct calendar is selected and check for any filters that might be excluding events. Test with new sample events, and verify you're not hitting Google Calendar API limits. Reviewing your Zap history and error logs may reveal specific issues, and ensuring both Zapier and Google Calendar are up to date can help.

If not and you’d still like some help in getting it sorted can you share a screenshot of the Agent’s setup along with any error messages you’re getting. Be sure to blur or remove any personal info (names, emails, etc.) before sharing—you can use a tool like Zappy for that.
