I have a simple Zap that detects new events in an Outlook account and creates a note in Notion. It has worked fine for months and I haven’t touched it over that period. Now I am getting flooded with emails from Zapier about an error with this Zap. The error message is “Trigger partner failure: Unable to retrieve the list of calendar events: The specified object was not found in the store.” There is almost nothing when I search for this, and the two that appear are nothing to do with Outlook. Also, when I edit the Zap and test everything, it reports that everything is working.

Any ideas?

Hi @languageservicesco.

Make sure you are using the current version of the Outlook Zap app.

Sometimes Zap trigger errors/issues are temporary and resolve on their own in due time.

If the issue persists, you can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hey @languageservicesco.,

I think the error means that the calendar that you connected no longer exists or changed. Can you check that and configure the Zap again?

Also try deleting the connection and reconnecting it again to see if it fixes it. You can manage the app connections from here- https://zapier.com/app/assets/connections. Hope it helps!

The calendar exists and is used as my main calendar. As I wrote in my post, editing the Zap when I test the elements they all work fine, so it must be there otherwise the test function is pointless. When I test the connection at the above link, it confirms that it is active. I have deleted and reconnected Outlook and will see what happens.

Hey @languageservicesco.,

Please post the screenshots of Data In and Data out, error you are encountering as well as how the Zap steps are configured for us to have more context?

Having deleted and reconnected Outlook, it appears to be working again. I created a new calendar event in Outlook which has now been transferred to Notion. Thanks for everyone’s contributions. It is a shame that the failure isn’t accompanied by a better error message that actually means something.

Hey @languageservicesco.,

Glad to hear that deleting the connection and reconnecting it again have fixed your issue.
