I am trying to use formatter by zapier to split an inbound email by line. One of these lines is itself an email. When I map and test the action after splitting it, it gives me the error ‘email not an email’. However, I know that it is an email because it is the one that I use for testing and have set up through gmail. How can we make this work?

There may be extract invisible characters part of the email address. (e.g. leading/trailing whitespace)
You’d be better served doing proper email parsing using one of these methods:
