I'm having trouble with the integration between a Basecamp card table and a connected Google Doc. Previously, updates to the card table would automatically add or update rows in the Google Doc. However, this stopped working about a month ago — now it shows “no activity found.”

I tried creating a new card table and setting up the integration again, but I’m still seeing the same issue: no activity is detected when the card table is updated. It does detect activity if I create a message, but I specifically need it to track updates to the card table.

Any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there @eunderwood,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Before we dig deeper into this, would you mind sharing a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured? Also, please share a screenshot of the “CONFIGURE” section of the action steps that shows all of its fields.

Please don't include personal information in the screenshot, or be sure blur out any personal information.

Thanks!

Hey @eunderwood, just checking in—were you able to get this sorted?

If not, is it the New Activity trigger you’re using? I’m not seeing any recent updates to the Basecamp app that would have caused it to stop working suddenly. So I suspect that there could have been a change on Basecamp’s end to their API which stopped those types of updates from being sent over as new activities. 🤔 But it may be worth reaching out to our Support team to have them investigate whether there’s a new bug that could have surfaced.

In the meantime, there are New Comment and New Message triggers available which you could potentially use in place of the new activity trigger to see those types of activity. Not an ideal solution I know, but hopefully it would help to allow new messages/comments to be detected at least.

Keep us posted on how things are going, want to make sure you’re all set!
