My zaps used to work, but it suddenly failed.

I want to get the document content when there is a new file in my google drive folder. after I got the document content, i paste the content to Chatgpt. My file is word file .docx

  

 

Hi ​@Tyra 

Guessing you are trying to get content for a file that is not a text based file.

You probably want to add a Filter as Zap step 2 to only filter for file types that are supported for getting content from. (e.g. GDocs vs Images)

Hi and welcome to the Community, ​@Tyra! 😁 Did Troy’s suggestion of adding a Filter to only allow the Zap to continue for text based files sort things here?

​@Tyra another, more flexible option is to use the Transcribe action in AI by Zapier, and pass in the File (exists but not shown) object from Google Drive into the URL to Extract Content From field. This will parse the text from any file type and output it as markdown, using Gemini:
