Trouble connecting Big Cartel store to Trustpilot

 One thing that trips people up is that Big Cartel doesn’t handle test orders/events the same way Shopify or WooCommerce do, so Trustpilot often won’t let you run a manual test. In most cases, review invites only trigger after a real, completed order, sometimes with a delay.

A few things worth checking:

The order is marked as paid/completed in Big Cartel (not pending)

Trustpilot is set to trigger on the correct order status

Whether you’re using Trustpilot’s email invite method vs an automatic webhook-style sync (Big Cartel is limited here)

If everything looks right and tests still won’t fire, the usual workaround is placing a small real order or switching to email-based invites.
