I have a Zap whose sole job is to set the due date to “today” for any task I create that doesn’t have one. It’s a zap I’ve had running since 2023, and it’s recently stopped working. Has anyone seen any issues here? I’ve done some testing, and the update task step is still working, but neither setting via human formatted date, or by system date is applying at all.

I’m Pavel from Zapier support and I’ll jump in to help.

It’s possible that something has changed with the value labels in the app you’re updating, so the Zap may not be referencing the correct property anymore.

If you can share a screenshot of the date field in your Update Task step from a recent run in your Zap History, we can take a closer look at what’s available there and confirm whether the Zap is still pointing to the right field.

Once we can see that, we’ll have a better idea of whether this is a mapping issue or something else going on with how the date is being applied.
