So yeah I came into issue I don’t fully understand in tl;dv integration:

  1. when testing zap/step in the flow I get only some dummy test data not real meetings, is that normal?
  2. after publishing zap it only triggers on meetings I was on, not the meetings in team space even I’m set as the owner and have access from tldv space to it, is there a way to solve it?

@przemmaj

1. Yes that can be normal, some apps give dummy.

2. I’m not seeing anything written that explicitly says whether their integration should capture all meetings on your team, or just yours. You should contact Zapier/ tl;dv to confirm. You might need to duplicate your zap for everyone on your team and have them connect all their accounts in Zapier.

Hi @przemmaj

Yes, some Zap app trigger steps only return representative dummy data so that you can configure the Zap action steps.

Here’s a workaround to get real data as a Zap trigger step example record from a live Zap Run: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/35632951078029-Use-previous-Zap-runs-as-trigger-test-records

That can be related to app account connection scopes/permissions/settings.

Try working with tl;dv Support for help with their Zap app integration.

@przemmaj

Issue may be related to how the tl;dv app account was connected to Zapier with the scopes for the tl;dv API key that was used.

Check here in tl;dv: https://tldv.io/app/settings/personal-settings/zapier-api-key

Info about tl;dv webhooks from the tl;dv API documentation: https://doc.tldv.io/index.html#section/Webhook-Feature/Scope-and-Configuration

Scope & Configuration

Webhooks can be configured at different levels, depending on your needs:

  • User level – only events for that individual user
  • Team level – events for all users in a specific team
  • Organization level – all events across your entire organization

You can enable one or both triggers ("MeetingReady", "TranscriptReady") at the level that makes the most sense for your setup.

This gives you control over how broadly you want setup your webhooks.
