Hi @Nazume, welcome to the Community! 🎉

Thanks for flagging this, and sorry you’re running into similar timeouts when using the Perplexity app. Hope you don’t mind but I’ve moved your post out into it’s own topic so it can be addressed separately since it’s a different app that’s involved.

Since it’s a more advanced, deep research model you’re using that’s likely why it’s timing out as it’s expected that it would have a longer response time. I’d suggest adjusting the System Message prompting and reducing the Max Tokens to see if that helps to speed up the response time and prevent it timing out.

There’s no bug report for timeouts on the Perplexity app so I’d recommend reaching out to our Support team to report the issue here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help. They’ll be able to investigate further and bring this to the attention of our engineers.

Please keep me posted on how you get on with adjusting the Max Tokens and prompting!

I’m so sorry to hear you’re also experiencing timeout errors with Perplexity’s sonar-deep-research model @moltes.

I checked on this end and there still isn’t a bug report open for these timeout errors. If reducing the Max Tokens amount and adjusting the prompting doesn’t help to resolve it please can you get in touch with our Support team about this. That’ll allow them to investigate the setup and logs for your Zap, and get a bug report opened.

Keep us posted on how you get on!
