TeamUp error: The event can't be inserted or updated because an event with the same remote ID exists already.

I’m having trouble creating a Zap that can link google calendar to Teamup.  Creating an event in one then Zap to create the same event in the other is pretty straight forward.  I can’t however get the events to update in both without creating an additional event or throwing the error code as follows: 

The app returned "The event cannot be inserted or updated because an event with the same remote id exists already.".

Any help would be appreciated!
