Task being duplicated and sometimes only partially completed.

I created a zap that is working expect for some odd task duplication which happens most times, but not always. When uploading a file to YT, it often creates a second and sometimes third upload version, without completing the tasks of (a) CHANGING THE YT TITLE by parsing in part of the file name [i.e. the recipient’s name], and/or (b) UPDATING THE YT DESCRIPTION with the text provided in the zap. This example shows the zap made 3 uploads, one done correctly.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Hey @GC_Hamilton,

Try adding a delay action. See more about it here- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496288754829-Add-delays-to-Zaps

You can also try adding a Deduplication logic with Find Video and filter action. Hope it helps!

Hi @GC_Hamilton, it looks like the duplication is happening because the Zap triggers before the previous task fully completes. Try adding a Delay action before the YouTube steps and implement deduplication logic using a Find Video + Filter action. This usually prevents multiple uploads and ensures the title and description update correctly.
