Syncing comments from Samply to monday.com updates

First time zapier here.

 

I am looking to create an update on an item on monday, once a client has commented on a samply link we sent them. Basically we send an artist a mix to listen to via samply, the artist will then comment on the mix on the samply site. 

Ideally I would like that comment to appear as an update on that item, however, I am open to having a long text column for that comment to live in as well. 

 

I tried to create a zapier - however I keep coming back with errors and it's not making sense.

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

In Zap steps 2-3, make sure to remove the Extra Fields

Doesn’t appear your Monday Zap steps are configured correctly.

In the SETUP tab, make sure you have selected the correct action.

See screenshots.


NOTE: Monday is a bit tricky to use based on their underlying API conventions.

Step 2, if you select a different Column to Search In, then you will be shown another field to set the search value.

EXAMPLE


 

Step 3, you need to map the the Item ID from a previous Zap step.
