Hello!

I am setting up a zap to take stripe customer data, after buying a specific product, and put that email into a specific ActiveCampaign List. However, I keep getting an error on the ActiveCampaign test ‘The app returned "Missing Required Field(s) for Subscription Action".’

 

Steps:

  1. Trigger: Checkout Session Completed in Stripe
  2. Filter: Line items price product contains “xyz product id from stripe”
  3. ActiveCampaign Subscribe from x ListID. I don’t have contact ID so I filled in the email address field with stripe “customer details email” but it says no data in italics:

Any idea what is going on? I can’t seem to get the Stripe Email to match to the Active Campaign Email field.

I got it resolved, metadata from Stripe wasn’t coming through properly, but it finally synced

For those still encountering this problem, there are several general troubleshooting steps to try: first, ensure your Zap is triggering on the correct Stripe event (like "New Charge"); subsequently, verify that the metadata in Stripe is correctly configured with proper keys, values, and associated objects. If issues persist, try reconnecting your Stripe account in Zapier to refresh the integration and test your Zap again. If the metadata still isn't appearing, contacting Zapier Support is recommended for further assistance.
