I am trying to tag contacts who purchased a product on my Squarespace site to go to a Mailchimp audience, and within that audience, get a specific tag. For some reason, Zapier is reading that there is an order being placed, but it is not tagging the email contact with the correct tag on Mailchimp

Which exact Mailchimp action you are using? Please post screenshots of Data In, Data Out as well as how each Zap step is configured for us to have more context. You can use Add Subscriber to a Tag action to add a subscriber to a tag.

You can configure the Tags to add.

If you need more help, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings.
This is how it is set up now. I need it to go from my Squarespace site after an order to the correct Path then tag the subscriber with the correct tag. Right now I can see orders come in and it runs but it doesn’t tag them.

Your screenshot shows how your Zap steps are outlined, but does not show us how your Zap steps are configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode with the field mappings and field types visible for us to have more context.
