I keep getting an error that the Schedule At cannot be in the past.

I’m using the field from the data on Signup Genius - which the first date is September 2, 2023 8pm EST.

I’ve tried with both fields startdate and startdatestring.

I have set my time zone on my account.

Could there be a problem with how Signup Genius formats the time and date? Maybe it thinks it is 02/09/23 as opposed to 09/02/23?

HELP and thanks in advance!

Hi @mdhillison

Good question.

It may be related to the time zone value that is part of the mapped variable. (e.g. GMT)

The date format is YYYY-MM-DD.

Try using this Zap action: Formatter > Text > Replace

Replace “ GMT” with nothing.

OR you can try using this Zap action to prep the timestamp format: Formatter > Date & Time > Format

I couldn’t get the first action to work but I was able to get the second one in. The error appears to have stopped - let’s see if it works! This is my first solo zap.

Hey there @mdhillison - how is it coming along?! We’re hoping your first Zap is a successful one! If you run into any other issues come on back any time and we’re here to help.

Best,

Oh thanks.

I do think I fixed the date issue and I got familiar with the formatter action.

So hopefully next test will work!
