Slack error: channel_not_found after using normalized field

Hello, I saw previous threads on this but it looks like you’ve fixed the issue. I’m currently not able to detect the channel that was created by a Zap even though there is now a “Channel Name Normalized” Option. I’m trying to invite a user to the channel. The companies did have capital letters (i.e. ABC or Alphabet Corp.), is this still an issue within Zapier or is there something else I’m missing? Thank you!

Hi @rossh

Are you using the Send Channel Message action in Slack?

If so, this seems to be a result of the channel being Private and the connected Slack account in use not being a member of the channel mapped. Changing the Slack account (app connection) is likely the easiest way to go, besides to adding the Slack user to the channel. Also, changing the channel to Public should also work.
