Good day,

I did the full setUp with Copilot. It is working but I can not publish it.

If mail-adress is in the Audience already, the test stops.

Can I publish here the whole Zap-tree for help ? (8. Steps with one Split)

What is best to do ?

Hi @Gundi

Help us have more info about what you are referring to by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured.

Hey @Gundi,

Try changing the Mailchimp Find a Subscriber action configuration for should this step be considered a success if no search results are found? to Yes so that it continues even when nothing is found.

After that you can use Paths in Zapier to take care for the Found and Not Found scenarios. Here is a helpful article about Paths in Zapier-https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496288555917-Add-branching-logic-to-Zaps-with-Paths .

Alternatively, you can also add error handling if you want to keep the configuration to No. See more about it here- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/22495436062605-Set-up-custom-error-handling. Hope it helps!

@Gundi

For the Mailchimp step, change this field to be true as shown in the screenshot below.

Then you can have your filter step condition be based on the result of whether a Subscriber was found or not.

Thank you Troy. With ‘no search results are found` set to “success”, MailChimp is adding the contact automatically in the Mail Chimp audience, without sending the Zapier email in step 4. containing the subscribing button.

Thank you Sparsh. Is a path necessary ?

Hey @Gundi,

It’s not necessary if you don’t want to do any other action for Found scenario. Hope it helps!

Merci. No, with found nothing should happen.
