Hello,

I have a zap that links bizconnect to salesforce : whenever a card is scanned, it needs to create a contact in salesforce, with the right information mapped from bizconnect to salesforce.

It works just fine for every field, but NOT for the address fields (city, country, street, postal code) that remain empty even though there’s data in. I also opened a ticket to support but had no reply ..

Those fields are writeable in Salesforce so i dont understand the issue here.

Any help would be much appreciateddd please

Thanks

Shanon

Hi @INTREEJ

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode in the CONFIGURE tab with the field mappings visible.

Hi @INTREEJ 👋

Just came across this and can see that our Support team have since got back to you. It appears to have been due to the test record from BizConnect not having any values in the City, CountryStreet and Postalcode fields that were selected.

Not sure if you’ve had a chance to see their response yet, but I wanted to share part of it here in case it helps illustrate the cause of the issue more clearly:

I reviewed one of the Zap runs, and the reason the data didn't come through is because the BizConnect trigger didn't contain data for those fields.

Looking at the BizConnect Address field that’s been selected in the Mailing Street field, it seems that the entire address is contained within that field, not just the street name.

Could it be that, for that specific contact in BizConnect, only the Address field was populated and the others were blank? If that’s the case, then I’d expect that when the Zap runs live with all the address fields filled out, the City, Country, Street, and Postal Code should then be added in Salesforce correctly.

Or have you already done a live test with all the address fields filled out and it didn’t copy over all the address details as expected?

Keep us posted on how things are going, want to make sure this gets sorted! 🙂
