I am a super admin in RingCentral, we have about forty other users on our account. I set up a Zap to trigger when there is a new call recording, but it only triggers on my own calls, not on any of the calls from any other user.
Is there no way to set up the trigger to run on any new recorded call rather than just my own?
If I have to make forty different zaps, one for each user, then it’s just not worth the effort unfortunately.
I did some digging into our notes, and it seems like Zaps with the "New Call Log Record" only trigger on calls made to the connected user's extension, and the user expects calls across the company to trigger the Zap.
The user in the app connection needs to be a RingCentral admin user and also needs to select the following option in the "Call Log Type" trigger field:
You may need to hit the "Refresh fields" button to see this field if you setup the Zap before you had admin permissions.
Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Thanks for your input, I gave it a try and it does seem to work. I’m not sure why that field doesn’t show up for me unless I refresh though? I’ve been an admin on our RingCentral account for many years now, but that specific field is always hidden for me until I refresh.
This is what I see when I open the “Configure” menu:
Then, after I “refresh fields”:
You may want to look into that as it seems a bit buggy 😉
