Hey everyone,

I’m trying to set up an automation to send messages from Google Sheets using Zapier, but I’m running into an issue with the phone number column. Zapier keeps throwing the following error:

Required field "To Phone Number" (toPhoneNumber) is missing.

Edit: there is a column named PHONE, the phone format is 1234567890 (US), but it’s not detected

What is the Trigger of this Zap? Also from HIstory can you show me data out of the trigger step?

We are currently gathering leads and are looking to implement a system that allows us to send automated messages to a select group of leads based on specific criteria. For example, we would like to target leads with the status "No Answer" and send them follow-up messages at predetermined time intervals to improve engagement

With what i can see, the phone from Google Sheet is coming as blank and that is causing this issue.


Is there an option to fix it?

The error occurs when Zapier can't recognize the "To Phone Number" data. Ensure the Google Sheets column with phone numbers is correctly formatted and contains only numeric characters. Verify the "To Phone Number" field in your Zap is mapped to the correct column. Test your Zap again.
