REFUND

By mistake, I purchased a yearly Zapier subscription and immediately requested a refund. I was told that refunds were not possible, so I accepted the situation and kept the subscription.

However, yesterday (December 2nd, 2025) I noticed that my account had been switched back to the Free plan. I contacted support to understand why, and I discovered that on October 23rd (I hadn’t seen the email) they downgraded me to the Free plan and claimed they had refunded me.

The problem is: I never received any refund — not on PayPal and not on my bank account.

Has this happened to anyone else? I either want my money back or my paid subscription restored. The funny thing is that PayPal says the claim was resolved in Zapier’s favor, while Zapier says it was resolved in my favor! So who is right? Because I certainly don’t see my money (199 euros) anywhere!

I’m so sorry to hear that this happened. I can see you’ve got a ticket open our Support team so I’d recommend following up with them directly over email since they have access to your account and can investigate this further.

That said, if the amount you paid wasn’t refunded then it should still be on your account and showing as a credit and be automatically deducted from any future charges if you were to upgrade to a paid plan again (until the credits are used up or expire).
