QuickBooks Online error: Required field "Name" "Recurrence Type" "Interval Type" "Start Date" is missing

Hello There,

I’ve created a new Zap to sync woocommerce order to Quickbooks Invoice. but I try to publish I’m getting an error, Please see below screenshot

 

 

Also, when I try to Test steps then getting following error

 

Failed to create a new invoice in QuickBooks Online

Required field "Name" (name) is missing. Required field "Recurrence Type" (recurType) is missing. Required field "Interval Type" (interval) is missing. Required field "Start Date" (startDate) is missing.

 

Can someone help me to fix this issue?

Hello Tejas,

 

The error message indicates that the following fields in your QuickBooks step are missing data:

  • Name
  • Recurrence Type
  • Interval Type
  • Start Date

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to fix the error:

  • Ensure that there are values mapped in those fields. If they are empty, you will need to map or manually type in some values, as these fields are required.
  • If you did map values there, but are still getting this error message, it may mean that the values contain no data. If this is the case, the order from WooCommerce being used as a sample in your draft is responsible. Selecting a different order which does have data for those values will resolve the problem.
  • This error is the reason why your Zap cannot be published. Once it is resolved, and the QuickBooks step is tested successfully, you’ll be able to publish your Zap.

Hey there!

I am having the exact problem. Can someone point to where to configure the Name, Recurrence Type, Interval Type and Start Date? Maybe provide screenshots of their locations?

Because I can’t locate these info in the Create Invoice in QuickBooks Online > Configure form.

The "Create Invoice" action in Zapier for QuickBooks Online supports creating single invoices with fields like Customer, Line Amount, and Line Description. Fields like Name, Recurrence Type, Interval Type, and Start Date are recurring transactions that can't be created via Zapier. To automate single invoice creation, use Zapier, but recurring invoices must be set up directly in QuickBooks Online.
