Hi,
I am attempting to create invoices using csv files from sharepoint, however i am attempting to use line items and i am getting the error “number out of range” or “Param missing”.
The only way i get it to actually send an invoice to quickbooks is if i set the “amount”, “rate”, and “quantity” values to 1.
I can provide screenshots, i might be simply missing something obvious, however i have attempted to format them as some values are empty, this is because i use a generalized excel template which means that not all of the line items would have the same length.

From reading the Quickbooks API Docs, I understand that the “Quantity” line only accepts decimal numbers, could you try to change this list to rounded numbers and see what happens?

Sorry for the late response, I have attempted to change it to rounded numbers, however i get the same error.

Thanks for your feedback! Do all of the line items fields have the same length? Or could it be possible that some of these lists have more items due to the presence of empty values?

If you’re still stuck, that the “number out of range” error could be due to one of the fields having a minimum and maximum value requirement set:
If the field is using the same range as noted in the above screenshot (Min:{0} Max:{1}), which could explain why it worked when the values were set to 1, as 1 is an accepted value in the range 0 - 1.
With the “Param missing” error, did you get any additional details as to what specific parameter was missing, or were you able to identify which field was causing the error?
I’m wondering if there’s a setting that’s been selected, or a field that’s had a value mapped to it which then makes another field required. For example if a field was mapped to the Total Tax field, then you’d need to select a value in the Tax Code field. Alternatively, there may have been a field selected for a required field that when the Zap ran the field that was mapped to it didn’t contain any value. Or it could be as escalateur.com says and an incorrect number of line items was passed causing one of the expected values to be missing. 🤔
