Question

Proposify to Google Drive > upload proposal when signed (standad zap not working -help?)

efellefred

Hi I’m trying to use one of the highlighted zaps for Proposify but when I set it up it’s just creating a document in google drive that has the URL for the proposal document, instead of uploading it. Is there somewhere I can go for help on this, I’ve tried making it work for the last 40 minutes but no matter what I do everything shows it’s connecting but the end result is the same...thanks!

Hi @efellefred, welcome to the Community!

Could you please share a screenshot of the Google Drive step so we can see how it’s currently set up? Don’t forget to remove or obscure personal or private information in any screenshot you share in the community (eg full name, email address, etc). And if you could also include a link to the Zap template you’re using, that would be super helpful. Thanks!

So glad to hear you got it working, @efellefred! 🙂

I suspect that there might have been a “space” added just before the selected Proposify field. It’s easily done as it’s hard to spot it’s there. For example:

I’ve seen cases in the past where an accidentally added “space” character then caused a Zap to create a document that contained the URL to the file instead of the file itself. Do you think that might have been the case here?
