Hi!

I have a question.

I am giving 4 webinars in the upcoming months. For each of these webinars, I made subscriber groups in mailerlite.

The problem I’m having now, is that if a person buys one webinar (through PlugNpay), their email address gets send to all four subscriber groups (and they receive the welcome message 4x). I’ve read that this might be caused because zapier confuses all the webinars. I’ve tried changing the names of the product (no more ‘webinar’ in it) but this doesn’t help!

Who has the golden tip how to solve this?

thanks!

Hi there, @webinars 👋

Were you able to get it solved by using Filters or Paths as Troy suggested?

Looking to make sure everything’s up and running, so let us know if you need any further help at all! 🙂

Hi, thanks for reaching out.

I actually took another approach. In PlugNpay, you need to define a product group for each product. So obviously, I categorized all webinars as ‘webinar’. Turns out this is confusing for Zapier. I changed the product group for each webinar, creating an unique group name like webinar_1, webinar_2… and this solved the issue.

Hi @webinars,

Thank you for sharing your solution. It seems like the issue was related to how product groups were categorized in PlugNpay, which was causing confusion in Zapier.

The issue stemmed from how product groups were categorized in PlugNpay, causing confusion in Zapier. By assigning unique product group names to each webinar (e.g., webinar_1, webinar_2), ambiguity was eliminated, allowing Zapier to correctly differentiate and process each webinar as a distinct entity. This highlights the importance of clear data organization in resolving integration challenges. Let me know if you need further assistance with your Zapier workflows.
