Problem in converting Google Docs to PDF in a Google Drive folder

Hello, I have a question regarding converting DOC files to PDF on Google Drive. I've set up an automation process to connect Google Docs to Airtable to fill out files for me, and then directly save them on Google Drive. Before, it would do all this and automatically convert the DOC file to PDF. Since January 2024, it no longer converts it. Any ideas regarding this issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to the Community, @LuciaCAC! 👋

Was the Zap using a export/download link to provide the PDF version of the file?

If so, then the changes made on Google’s end which came into affect from January 2, 2024 are likely what’s affecting the Zap: https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2023/10/upcoming-changes-to-third-party-cookies-in-google-drive.html

Instead of having the export/download link formatted as “https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=FILEID” it would need to be formatted as “http://docs.google.com/document/d/FILEID/export?format=pdf” - with the FILEID part being replaced with the ID for the Google Document.

Can you try updating the URL that’s used in the Zap and let me know if that gets it working again?
