Question

Parallel Paths only passing the last Storage by Zapier value to Google Docs

I have 10 parallel paths in my Zap, each ending with a Set Value step that stores a biomarker result in Storage by Zapier. After those paths, I want to run a central retrieval sequence of Get Value steps so I can consolidate all 10 biomarker outputs into one Google Docs template.
The issue is that my Google Docs step only sees the output from the last Get Value step, even though I’ve tested each one. How can I structure my Zap so that all 10 Get Value outputs are available together downstream, instead of only the last one?

Hi @nonee

Try using Zapier Tables as storage instead of the Storage app.

Zapier Tables has a UI that can help you see the record data being used.

I recommend creating a Record before the Paths, then you can update the Record in each Path for a different field to set the value.

Hi @nonee

As suggested by @Troy Tessalone , Zapier Tables is ideal for this scenario because it allows you to store multiple values in separate fields of a single record.

How to set it up:

  1. Before the parallel paths, add a Zapier Tables: Create Record action. This creates a new row (record) with empty fields for each biomarker.

  2. Inside each of your 10 paths, add a Zapier Tables: Update Record action.

    • Map each path to update a different field in that record (e.g., biomarker_1biomarker_2, … biomarker_10).

  3. After all paths, add a Zapier Tables: Get Record action to retrieve the complete record with all 10 fields populated.

  4. Pass that record’s data into your Google Docs template.

This way, each biomarker is stored in its own dedicated field, and the final step retrieves them all together.
